hCG - the pregnancy hormone

All over-the-counter pregnancy tests look for the presence of hCG - Human Chorionic Gonadotropin - in your urine. The body produces hCG, a hormone, when a fertilized egg attaches to your uterus. hCG levels rise rapidly, doubling every few days. High hCG levels are a reliable indicator of pregnancy in most women.

How to use Lia

Lia is easy to use, and you’ll have your results in five minutes.

    Pee on the test

    Hold the test at an angle and pee on the collection pad for seven seconds. You can use Lia at any time of day.

    Wait for results

    Place the test flat, face-up, and wait five minutes for your results to develop and appear in the result window.

    Read results

    Lia reads like a classic test - one line for a negative result, and two for a positive one. Even a faint second line is a positive result.
